Woodworking Class

Last Saturday, I took a beginning woodworking workshop at Chicago’s Pagoda Studios. I’d been wanting to take a woodworking class for awhile and had made learning basic woodworking skills part of my 25 before 25 list of goals.

The class I took taught basic workshop safety and how to use a variety of saws. In the end each member of the class made a charcuterie board. Not super surprisingly, I was the only female in the class, and I also made my board relatively girly. I made my board into the silhouette of my logo for this blog – a cute cloud shape. Scroll on to check out some of the steps I went to through to reach my finished product!
