Last weekend I attended Chicago’s Pitchfork Music Festival for the second time. I love Pitchfork with its great bands, excellent independent craft fair, good vegan food, and lots of people-watching to be had. Last year, I did a roundup of the vendors at the craft fair (see it here), but this year, I wanted to focus on the people in the crowd.

I brought some supplies to practice making knots with between sets, but other people were getting creative too. Â Here are some of the people I caught:
My husband found some abandoned bubbles and played with them for awhile. At a certain point during the weekend, everything was so muddy, picking things off the ground didn’t seem gross anymore.Â
This guy wasn’t doing anything creative per se, but his tattoo is amazing.Â
A woman working on some knitting during the Chromatics set.
A couple who escaped the weekend’s persistent rain with a DIY tandem poncho made from a stolen garbage bag. They seem pretty proud of it.Â
