Way, way back in January I shared my 2015 goals, as you do. One of them was all about wanting to do more video content, and boy, the universe has been helping me be all over accomplishing that goal. First I’ve been doing more on my YouTube channel, then there’s the videos I started hosting for AllFreeKnitting, and this summer, YarnTalk made its debut. And the universe-powered video train doesn’t appear to be stopping!
PS: This video says lessons are coming soon, but they’re here! Check my Blitsy videos here.
Back in February, I was lucky enough to get booked to be the knitting and crochet host for a company called Blitsy. I’ve blogged about their amazing deals on craft supplies in the past, like how to knit an afghan for under $35. Their vision was to start offering free, high-quality classes on a range of crafting techniques, and wouldn’t you know it? I was the knitter and crocheter they thought of for tackling the yarn end of things. I’m so excited to be in these videos, and you should totally check them out. They are 100% free, and in them, I walk you through how to knit and crochet four different patterns I’ve released for free on the blog: Winter Sea Stocking Cap, Staggered Holes Baby Blanket, Granny Throw Pillows, and the Crochet T-shirt Yarn Tote (I demo how to make it with regular yarn, btw, for those who’ve been asking!).
So head on over to the Knitting & Crochet Lessons section of Blitsy, and check out the videos we’ve done so far. This was a new environment for me, doing long form video, so I’d love to hear what you think! :)
