Maybe razors are a weird thing to talk about on a craft blog. But I can tell you that the only times I ever travel are for either DIY related conferences or for a visit with my family. No matter the reason for a given trip, I end up having a crazy week both before and after it, trying to plan ahead and finish enough DIYs (and their corresponding blog post tutorials) to cover me until I’m back home. Juggling a busy schedule like this means that remembering to do things like shaving doesn’t always happen.
My Scandinavian heritage blessed me with the gift of natural blonde hair, which means that when I forget to shave pre-travel, I’ve probably also not shaved my legs for like, awhile. I have definitely arrived at more than one DIY conference being like, “At least I’ve got tights! I bet if I lotion down my prickly legs, they won’t stick out through my tights. I’m a genius!” … Not so much.
An easy solution I’ve discovered is the new Venus Snap, a travel-sized razor that’s easy to use and comes in its own little compact case for travel. It is absolutely my new must-have travel accessory. You’re welcome, people at conferences. I will now not stab you with my leg needles if we bump shins under a lunch table! How kind of me!
My best early March camping outfit. Note the eyebrows: proof I’m the natural blonde I claim to be – scout’s honor!
This razor is co compact it fits in everything from the side pouch of your purse to a shirt pocket. You can even take a little bit of the roughness out of roughing it on camping trips this summer by bringing the Venus Snap along.
