We can pretty much agree that Twin Peaks rules, right? My friend, fellow YarnTalk host and knit designer Leah Coccari-Swift has launched a Kickstarter with another amazing designer and friend, Teresa Gregorio. The book/collection they’re looking to make is called Great Northern, and it’s inspired by the classic, cult-favorite TV show. Here’s a little bit about the collection:
Great Northern is a collection of 10 sweater patterns (and some accessories and home goods patterns) inspired by the TV show Twin Peaks.
The sweaters worn by the characters in the show are the primary inspiration, although you won’t find exact copies of the tv wardrobe. We were guided by the styles, textures and themes of the show and created fashionable, wearable styles that often have a vintage feel.
Not only is Twin Peaks awesome, the vintage feel of this collection is to die for. Vintage + Twin Peaks? Be still my heart. Here, just look at the swatches, yarns and even a couple finished pattern samples that you can help make exist. Are you excited as I am? You can support the Kickstarter here to make this amazing collection a reality!
This post is part of the Great Northern blog tour. Welcome, if you’re here from the last stop, cynttende! Tomorrow, there will be two blog tour stops, one at Emma Welford‘s blog, and the other at Ewe Ewe Yarns. Good luck, Leah and Teresa!
