After spending all weekend at Vogue Knitting Live last weekend, I’m full to the brim with inspiration! There were amazing people to meet, lots of knitting (and some crochet too!) to see, amazing Designers to meet, and lots to learn. To get you all inspired to cast on your own spring knits as well, let’s take a look at ten of the best new knitting patterns to arrive this spring!

Please note: some of these may not be available for purchase for a few more weeks.

PS: Just a quick note addressing a comment I’ve started to consistently see on these Things to Knit/Crochet roundups. Yes, some of these are only available (for now) as part of a magazine, book or larger collection. That’s beyond my control. But if you love one of the patterns so much that you really want to cast it on, think of it this way: buying a whole collection of patterns, especially if they’re independently released by the designer, is a great way to keep that designer designing these beautiful things. And if you require a more selfish argument for buying a collection of patterns, think of it this way. The design you love was likely designed to go with the other patterns in the collection. Perhaps you can find other inspiring designs and ideas among the whole collection!

I was inspired by VKL so much I cast on a swatch for a sweater while waiting for the train! I love these picks, especially Dreyma and Snuggle!

A note on Very Serious Crafts: In the post I discuss stepping away from the @seriouscrafts podcast to give myself more time to devote to some minor medical issues. Don’t you worry - my health will be fine, & @molliejohanson @redhandledscissors and I are still pals, and after a short break of their own, the podcast will be back! Just sans moi. 💁🏼‍♀️😆
