This is my first week back in the studio in awhile

This is my first week back in the studio in awhile, and as a little treat/palette cleanse today, I took a break to make a little purse strap. Liked it so much I thought I’d share! 🪢

This is my first time playing with a flat 6 strand braid, and the pink beads are rose quartz.
.
I have been wanting a purse strap that doubles as a covert fidget device for when I don’t want to bring a craft to an event, but might need something to keep anxious hands occupied. 🤓
.
Would anybody want to see a tutorial on this braid some time? I have been meaning to beef up the macramé content on YouTube lately & this was fun, fairly quick, and easy to learn.

P.S. The adorable clutch is from @cantclutchthis - I loooove a good bookish accessory for fall! 🤓🍎

June is attempting to blend in with my knitting today! #handsoccupied #eggsweater

Just sharing a sunny little June this fine morning

Just sharing a sunny little June this fine morning! Here she is with a monkey’s fist knot toy - plain cotton rope toys & kongs are her favorite. She’ll sit with them for hours now while I knit. ☺️ #internationaldogday

Six weeks out from adoption, she’s been spayed, dewormed (twice, poor kid), and has begun to learn basic commands and face her fear of the outdoors/going outside in the noisy city. Walks are still a goal, but sit, down, look at me, and come commands have begun to click in her little brain. It’s been challenging, but also exceptionally rewarding! 🐕❤️ Luckily she loves other dogs and her crate so we do get a bit of a break there.

Anyone out there have an agoraphobic dog before? 😅 I have a hunch patience and continuing training every day is the key here…
