10 DIY Knotted Jewelry Projects

10 DIY Knotted Jewelry Picks | Hands Occupied

sailor’s knot necklace / macrame hex nut bracelet / monkey’s fist earrings / infinity knot bracelet / beaded josephine knot earrings / Chinese knot (pipa) earrings / nautical headband / knotted bracelet made with mason line / 50s style tied headband

Knotted accessories are super fun to make, and they’re also a really affordable way to add some DIY to your style. Above, I shared some of my favorite knotting projects from around the crafty internet.

And PS, just in case knotting freaks you out a bit, and you’re in Chicago this week, I’m teaching a knotting 101 workshop at the cutest little pie shop in town on Thursday. BYOB and groups are welcome, and a slice of the best pie you’ve ever had is included with the class. Additional info and registration is available here.

The tutorial on this page uses the same technique to accomplish what they did with the hex nut bracelet. They’re just using beads instead: http://www.lebenslustiger.com/serendipity/archives/262-Leather-Bracelet-DIY…AGAIN.html.
