Picks of the Week for March 2, 2018 | Hands Occupied

Look at all this! What a great seasonal cross-section of ideas! You’ve got some cute projects for St. Patrick’s day in a couple weeks, some adorable beanies (one of which was inspired by the Olympics), a wash cloth for spring cleaning, and a hanging macrame planter to show off your plants as the weather starts to shift to a new season. Sorry to be all Pollyanna over here, but these ideas just make me so happy. ;)

four-leaf clover pattern -mochimochi land

New! Pineapple Shawl in I Like Knitting

Pineapple Shawl by Heidi Gustad, I Like Knitting magazine, April 2018   Pineapple Shawl by Heidi Gustad, I Like Knitting magazine, April 2018
It’s that time again! The April issue of I Like Knitting magazine hit digital newsstands yesterday, and I have a really fun pattern in it. The Pineapple Shawl certainly lives up to its name! Featuring a custom pineapple stitch design (the pattern includes a video tutorial on how to work it too!) and a fun picot bind off, this shawl is a colorful way to keep warm during those pesky spring cold snaps.

Get the pattern exclusively in the new issue of I Like Knitting.
