Fingerless mitts are probably my most-worn item of knitwear. I’ve struggled with tendonitis for over half my life (yep, I first had the issue when I was just 14!), so I learned at a younger-than-average age the importance of keeping your hands warm to encourage good circulation and hand health. My newest pattern is now available, and it’s all about keeping your hands warm to make them feel good!
Get the Feel Good Mitts pattern on Ravelry now.
You’ve got a couple options when you knit up these mitts. You can use 6 different colors of Feel Good Yarn Company’s SilverSpun Sport mini skeins, which are 14 grams and 50 yards apiece. Or you can avoid weaving in ends a couple ways: You can leave ’em fringey like this.
…or you can simply knit them in a solid color like this. Either way, these mitts are relaxing to knit and include a handful (no pun intended) of techniques to make your finished knitting project perfectly polished. These construction and finishing techniques are adaptable to so many other knitting projects beyond the Feel Good Mitts!
It wouldn’t be a new pattern release without a super fun giveaway! Enter here to win a set of 6 mini skeins to make your first pair of Feel Good Mitts, plus a convenient little project bag to carry your knits-in-progress. The colors included in the bag are: Sugar Plum, Spumante, Starry Night, Natural, Silver Dust & Sterling Indigo.
