Let’s start 2016 by taking a look back how I did with my 2015 goals, and then we can look at the year ahead and what I’ve got in store for all you yarn lovers!
I feel really good about finding my feet as a designer in 2014, so of course I want to keep growing and improving with this momentum. On that note, I have a few 2015 goals I want to share with you guys.
This super simple spring-inspired baby hat is a great way to eat up the leftover sock yarn. I was inspired to make this, of course, during the Knit Along as I played around with some test patterns and love its little sprouty top. This hat is super perfect for newborns coming home from the hospital.
I hope my onion model makes you smile, by the way! You’ll have to excuse it subbing in for a real baby, since I don’t have one of those lying around to exploit for photos, lol. I think onion baby is so cute, and the only crying I have to worry about is if I cook with it. ;)
Lately, I’ve realized that not all inspiration posts need to be clean and tidy and all based on a theme. Neither does life. As many of you know, when I’m not blogging about knitting or DIY, I am a librarian. It might come as no surprise that I like things that make sense. I like rules. I like order.
Make an incredibly festive AND affordable balloon garland. Oh, and happy 3rd birthday to Hands Occupied.
