With last weekend spent doing perhaps my least favorite activity (spring cleaning), there wasn’t much time for knitting. As I gathered pictures and links for this week’s top picks, my jonesing for an extended knitting day has reached alarming levels.
Get inspired to try one of these new ideas from the yarny blog world this weekend!
I know a lot of you are already great knitters and are eager to see more of my non-beginner content. So now that it’s March and spring is in the air, I’ve got a couple ideas for transitional weather patterns. What sort of springy patterns would you guys like to see this spring?
Some of the best new knitting, crochet and yarn craft ideas.
There will always be more yarn crafts I want to do than I can ever do. I should get that embroidered on some kind of pillow or on a print. Let’s add to that list right now with this list of yarn crafts that have caught my eye this week!
Isn’t this such a surprisingly chic project? I got my hands on a couple of vintage arrows and have been dying to DIY with them for months! Of course these arrows came to mind when I was brainstorming Valentine’s project this year. What started as a simple vintage find became this ginormous God’s eye. The finished DIY really reminds me of some of the Native American-influenced crazy tapestries of the 1970s. I imagine this on the wall of Cupid’s swinging pad back in the day.
When you search for Olympic crafts or DIYs, SO much of what you find is designed for kids. Kids are great, but I work with them for my job and I’m not a mom. I don’t want to do kid stuff in my off time, is that so bad? Bring on the Olympic rings jewelry, boozy DIYs, adorable baked goods, and Grecian accessories!
Knotted accessories are super fun to make, and they’re also a really affordable way to add some DIY to your style.
This week’s faves include PVC pipe, diamonds, macrame and pie-flavored ice cream!
