How-to: Make a Candle - HandsOccupied.com

Want to make these patriotic votives? Check out my tutorial at Mod Podge Rocks!

How many times have you gone to an oh-so-cute gift shop and found a really cool candle that would be the perfect gift for someone, only to find out it costs how much? We’ve all been there. It took me a long time to take the plunge to finally try my hand at candle making for the first time. See? Super duper easy. Don’t hesitate to holler in the comments if you have any questions!

What an awesome video, Heidi! I love your animated intro title. And this is such a great how-to for candle-making. That wick/straw trick rocked my world – hadn’t ever seen that before. Bravo! I look forward to lots more videos in future!

Great thinking on the straw trick.
