Picks of the Week for February 24, 2017 | Hands Occupied

images via sources below

Everything was so very cute on the internet this week! There was some great amigurumi, plus lots of subtle and textural ideas for the home. This is one of those weeks that I’m tempted to try to tackle ALL of the new ideas in just one weekend. Chances of success are slim, but hey, we’ve got to have something to put on Pinterest for later, right?

so many adorable ideas!

learn three macrame knots -place of my taste
knitted moss stitch trivets -hand knitted things
eco-friendly crochet cotton pads -matildigt
amigurumi bumble bees -all about ami
knit waffle stitch potholders -hungry heart
amigurumi baby rattles -dekotopia

A lot of this week’s picks come from non-English blogs, but never fear! Google translate is here! – You can install a web browser website translation tool or simply copy and paste text into the site.

A note on Very Serious Crafts: In the post I discuss stepping away from the @seriouscrafts podcast to give myself more time to devote to some minor medical issues. Don’t you worry - my health will be fine, & @molliejohanson @redhandledscissors and I are still pals, and after a short break of their own, the podcast will be back! Just sans moi. 💁🏼‍♀️😆
