If you’ve been keeping up with my Podcast, you’ll know that gardening has captured a bit of my attention while sheltering in place. Since it’s the middle of July, it’s wonderful to see ideas where warm weather, yarn crafts, and gardening meet. This week the idea of weaving with fresh flowers and allowing them to dry is the idea I can’t stop thinking about – great for late summer too!

We’re living in a world where “date night” means getting a weekday morning time slot to visit the @chicagobotanic Gardens. 🌱 That, or watching another in an endless parade of movies while plugging away at a craft to combat creeping anxiety (am I right?) 😅 . . Getting outdoors and getting a few miles of walking in was such a huge mental health recharge for my husband & I – who else has creative, socially distant outing ideas they can share? 👩🏼🌾 #sociallydistant #handsoccupied
