Picks of the Week for January 8, 2016 | Hands Occupied

How great are these ideas? The baby patterns are obviously so sweet, and I love the hat patterns. The twigs and wool brooch is one of my favorite scrap yarn ideas ever – I’m absolutely pinning that for gift inspiration for next Christmas! Last but not least, one of my favorite knit designers, Ysolda Teague, shared tips for swatching in the round quickly. I know I’m going to be using this tutorial to save myself a ton of design time in the future!
