10 Awesome, Uncommon Gift Ideas

10 Awesome, Uncommon Gift Ideas via Hands Occupied

It might be hard to admit, but the holidays are already looming. I’m the kind of lady who has rather unique tastes, and Uncommon Goods is an online retailer that carries the sort of gift items I’d love to receive. Today, I’m sharing ten of my personal favorite items from their selection of Christmas gifts for women, all of which you can see here. And if you’re not looking for something gender-specific, you can see all of their unique Christmas gift selections here.

My picks :: kaleidoscope necklace / beer tasting notebook and pen set / diner party conversation game / personalized tree trunk glasses / portable magnetic speaker / molecular gastronomy kit / novel posters / fortune keeper bracelet / sneaker customization kit / embroidered state pillows

I’m really glad to have partnered with such a cool site for this roundup. Like really, relatives, any of these picks are totally something I would maybe definitely want for Christmas this year… just in case you’re looking. Even if you’re not shopping for another month, make a mental note that all of this stuff is fair game. That kaleidoscope necklace is literally an operational kaleidoscope, despite being about 2 cm long. You already know I love beer, games, cooking, jewelry and crafts, and these picks cover all the bases!

This post was brought to you by Uncommon Goods.

Have been looking for directions for cluster/cocktail rings I made in early 70’s. I used crochet hook, small elastic thread & small beads. I’m hoping you can help me, because I would like to make these again.

Hmm, I think I know what you’re talking about, but to be sure, would you mind emailing me any pictures you might have of what you’re thinking of? Handsoccupied (at) gmail (dot) com Thanks!

A note on Very Serious Crafts: In the post I discuss stepping away from the @seriouscrafts podcast to give myself more time to devote to some minor medical issues. Don’t you worry - my health will be fine, & @molliejohanson @redhandledscissors and I are still pals, and after a short break of their own, the podcast will be back! Just sans moi. 💁🏼‍♀️😆
